Now that January is basically over, we’ve settled in on our 2025 ins and outs. “What are those?” you may find yourself asking. Think of them as modified resolutions. Instead of saying something like “This year, I’m going to summit Everest”, you can change your mindset to smaller, more impactful, manageable goals.

Practical Self Care

We’re not procrastinating anymore. Self-care is more than just baths and cozy moments with a book (which are also important). We’re talking about getting the annoying admin to-dos - scheduling dentist appointments and getting the car’s oil changed. Organizing the pantry. The boring, non-sexy things that are super easy to put off but really matter.

Going to bed earlier

No, really. We’re taking full advantage of our CBD PM and getting an appropriate amount of sleep. No more doom scrolling until 2am for us. We’re preserving our sleep schedules, using good sleep hygiene, and prioritizing rest at night.

Not Sweating the Small Things

In 2025, we’re stressing less. Honestly, it all goes together. If you practice practical self care, and get more sleep, you can help your body stress less about the big and small things. With that combination, we’re not sweating the little details. It’s going to work out. We’re also using CBD to help our nervous systems realize we’re not being chased by a hungry bear and that we live quiet cushy lives and are safe.

Prioritizing Movement

It doesn’t have to be perfect. It’s not a failure if we just get a walk-in instead of a full CrossFit workout. It can be easy to be all or nothing and just give up if you don’t have time to get a perfect workout in, and we’re leaving this in 2024! Get movement! Get outside! Lift something heavy! But, do what you can and what you have time to do! Give up perfection and focus on getting the work done!

Balancing What We Eat

We’re here to eat well, eat whole foods, and make sure we’re eating enough protein. We’re also not going to be scared of food anymore. We can enjoy good food and drinks, stay on track with our goals, and not obsess over potentially ruining our macros by having a scoop of ice cream when we’re out with friends.

Perfectionism

We have no time for all-or-nothing mindsets. Good enough is good enough, whether it’s a workout, our macros, or our daily routine. Gone are the days of stressing over not having enough time to fit in a perfect hour-long workout. We’re saying adios to worrying about not hitting our protein goal 7 days a week. We’re kicking anxiety to the curb (with a little help from CBD)

Diets

We’re here for balance, macros appropriate for our goals, and eating what makes our bodies feel good. Do grains make us feel bloated? Cool, buh bye. Ice cream is our fav dessert? Awesome, let’s make sure we work that into our day-to-day in a balanced way. We’re done stressing about following the latest trend, and are focusing on what makes our bodies work and feel the best.
So, what about you? We’re adding CBD, working to make ourselves feel the best we can, sleeping more, and trying to strike a feel-good balance in everything.
All or nothing is SO 2024. This year, we’re here to be realistic, intentional, and stressless (with a little help from CBD!)
